Like, you would have missed her on your tour to the New York City and to show that you have missed her, you have purchased a gift, say, a diamond solitaire engagement ring for her. Now, these instances from past can be referred to indirectly express feelings on Twitter. In order to tell her that you miss her, just say I am getting the New York feeling.
